By creating an account or using nodegoals ("the Service"), operated by Node Goals LLC ("we", "us", "our"), a Hawaii limited liability company, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms") and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
You must be at least 16 to use nodegoals, and capable of forming a binding contract. If you're using nodegoals on behalf of a company, you represent that you have authority to bind that company to these Terms.
You're responsible for keeping your password secure and for any activity under your account. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
You retain ownership of everything you put into nodegoals — projects, tasks, notes, comments, images. You grant us a limited license to host, display, transmit, and process that content solely for the purpose of operating the Service for you (and any collaborators you invite).
You promise that your content (a) doesn't infringe anyone else's rights, (b) doesn't violate any law, and (c) isn't malicious code.
nodegoals includes AI-assisted features (AI Import, Ask AI, AI-suggested icons, etc.). These features call third-party AI models. AI output is:
Your prompts and the task context you reference are sent to the AI provider (OpenAI and/or Anthropic). Don't put information you wouldn't share with a third-party SaaS into an AI prompt.
Don't:
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
nodegoals is a general-purpose productivity tool. It is not a HIPAA-, PCI-, or FERPA-compliant system. We have not executed Business Associate Agreements (BAAs) with our hosting, AI, or email sub-processors and we do not commit to the safeguards those regulations require.
You agree NOT to upload, paste, type, attach, or otherwise process the following categories of data in nodegoals — neither in projects, tasks, comments, notes, images, attached email threads, nor in AI prompts:
If you process this data in nodegoals anyway, you do so in violation of these Terms and at your sole risk. We accept no liability for any unauthorized disclosure, regulatory penalty, or harm that results, and we may terminate accounts that we discover or suspect are processing prohibited content.
Some features may be labeled "beta" or are otherwise unreleased. They are provided AS IS, may change, break, or be removed without notice. Don't rely on them for anything critical.
Paid plans renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from Settings → Subscription. We don't issue refunds for partial periods, but if you believe a charge is in error, email us within 30 days and we'll work it out.
We may change prices on renewal with at least 30 days' notice.
We aim for high uptime but don't promise it. The Service is provided AS IS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES of any kind, express or implied (including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement), to the maximum extent permitted by law.
To the maximum extent allowed by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (or USD $100 if you haven't paid us anything). We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, or lost goodwill.
Some jurisdictions don't allow these limitations; in those places, our liability is limited to the smallest amount permitted by law.
You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We can suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms or extended inactivity. On termination, we delete your data per the Privacy Policy.
We may update these Terms. We'll post the new version here with an updated "Last updated" date. Material changes will be announced in-app or by email. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the new Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Hawaii, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Honolulu County, Hawaii, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts — except where consumer-protection law in your own jurisdiction grants you the right to bring the claim locally, in which case that law controls.
